Oman is known for its popular tourist attractions. Wadi’s deserts, beaches, and mountains are areas which make Oman unique to its neighbouring GCC nations (Wadis in particular). Jebel Shams is Oman’s tallest mountain, highest point, and is a popular destination for camping. Most of the major malls are located in Muscat, the capital. The largest mall in the country is the Muscat City Centre which was built by Majid Futtaim, an Emirati business man. Other popular tourist activities include sand skiing in the desert, mountain-climbing, camel racing, and camping.
Things to do
Cultural and Arts
We believe in our future generation and how important it is to give them opportunities they may never have living in London.
We want our student to come away with a positive experience so they can develop spiritually, morally, emotionally and academically and
achieve things they have never achieved before.
We want our students to go away feeling empowered and motivated with high aspirations so they can develop the skills to reflect and
evaluate and make the correct choices in life and become positive role models.
What We Do
Hayat institute intends to teach Arabic to non- native speakers. Each student will be assessed and put into a group according to their academic level. Each student will have an individualised programme developed according to their goals in life so that the Arabic course they do can fit into their lifestyle or career.
For example, Hassan is a secondary school student he has been taught some Arabic but he has not passed level 1. Hassan wants to further his language skills to be able to understand the Quran further helping him to read the keywords in an ayah to gain a general understanding of the ayah.
Abdullah is a college student who wants to learn conversational Arabic so that he can eventually apply for a job in the Middle East. He wants to further his academic education in SOAS University studying Arabic and Islamic philosophy.Abdullah has achieved level 2 and wants to be able to use his Arabic for everyday life skills. For example using public transport or, going to the shops to buy basic necessities
Each activity will be managed by at least two adults who will supervise the whole process.
For example, a group of students want to go to a restaurant in the evening they will be led by instructors and also they will have specific targets to achieve when ordering or conversing with the locals. All activities are structured and specific according to the level of the individual student. Hayat institute has a behaviour policy in place and we do expect our students to follow the behaviour policy.
Medical needs are also important so each student will need to have medical insurance. Also as part of the package some of the instructors are first aid trained and can give basic medical care. We also have a nurse who is based at Hayat institute A safe and happy learning environment is our top priority. Students learn best when they are happy and feel safe. Hayat priorities the safety and wellbeing of all our students.
